Thanksgiving Thanks

It’s Thanksgiving, and in the spirit of gratitude we wanted to say how much we appreciate the Project:Camp family and everyone who has helped us provide care for children, relief for families, and resilience for communities this year.

As a small – but mighty! – nonprofit, we can’t accomplish our mission without your support, and we are so thankful to everyone who has backed our cause. Thanks to your help, we were able to sustain our busiest year of camps ever, with responses that helped families impacted by wildfires in the west, tornados in the heartland, and hurricanes in the south.

But we need your continued support to keep that momentum going.

As we gear up for Giving Tuesday on December 3, we're reaching out to ask for your backing so we can continue bringing trauma-informed care to children impacted by disasters. Please donate today to help us grow our team, deploy more camps, and change the lives of more children in 2025.

With gratitude,
Ozzie & Mikey

  • It is with the utmost joy that we announce the newest member of the Project:Camp family, Rosalie Dvira Shai Latner! Our Executive Director Mikey Latner and his wife Sasha Feldstein welcomed Rosalie into the world this week, and the whole family is dancing with happiness. Everyone is doing well, and we have it on good authority that Rosalie is already an excellent communicator unafraid to voice her thoughts and opinions.

  • Project:Camp are now guest affiliates of the Western Association of Independent Camps, and our Camps Manager Madeline McClelland attended the annual conference in Del Mar, CA earlier this month. The conference was a great opportunity to connect with other camp professionals and learn about how we can improve our systems and programming to make camp even better. Thanks for having us, WAIC!
